1881 February 21, 6:30 p.m. Marriage certificate of Saie Altara Svartz, Jewish, jeweler, under Dutch protection, 23 years old, born in Ploiesti, 1857 November, resident in the suburb Precista, son of Altara Svartz deceased and Rahel David, being present and consenting to the marriage his uncle Maer Carniol, 37, sealmaker, resident in the suburb Precista, with Cati Iacov, Jewish, housewife, 21, born in Bucharest, 1859 August, resident in Ploiesti, the suburb Precista, daughter of Iacov Abramovici deceased, and Haia Abramovici, 45, housewifem who was present and condented to the marriage. The parties presented a dowry act in value of 9850 lei, 9000 in cash and 850 the value of the trousseau, authentified by local Court under No. 254/18 February. Preliminary resords: publications made without opposition in Ploiesti in January 4 and 11, certificate No. 51; birth certificates of the parties No. 177 amd 178; death certificates of the parents upon declarations of three witnesses No. 468 and 469.

In conformity with Civil Law Chapter 6, Title 5 we, Stavrache Georgescu, Mayor and Registrar of Ploiesti declared them married. Witnesses: Samoil Elias, 42, tailor, Alter Raier, 38, tailor, Solomon Iancu, 48, bootmaker, Albert Svartz, 38, turner, all resident in suburb Precista, who signed together with the parties, the uncle of the bridegroom and the mother of the bride.
