Canadian Shirt & Overalls, Ltd, 1912-14; pres. and mng editor Israelite Press 1915-33; supt Jewish Orphanage since 1934. Liberal candidate for alderman 1919. Dir. Talmud Torah 1912-15; pres. Zionist Council of Winnipeg 1915-19; vice-pres. 1920-27, hon vice-pres. 1927-29, Zionist Orgn of Canada; secy Canadian Jewish Congress 1919. Mem. exec. com. Liberal Assn; mem.
